Using Slack integration, you can receive the following notifications in Slack.
- Booking was completed using the schedule adjustment calendar
- A booking completed using the schedule adjustment calendar has been cancelled
- A booking completed using the schedule adjustment calendar has been rescheduled
- A response was entered in the Group (3 Companies) poll
- Date confirmed by Group (3 Companies) poll
Slack integration is available for all plans.
What you need for integration
- Slack Workspace (free or paid)
- TimeRex account
Notes
- Receive notifications only on channels ( with # or key mark ).
- You will not receive notifications via "Direct Message" or "App".
- If you want to receive notifications on a private channel, you must invite the TimeRex bot to the channel.
- When entering channel names on the TimeRex side, do not include # or key marks.
- One channel can be linked per schedule adjustment calendar / Group (3 Companies) poll.
- The total number of channels that can be linked in the schedule adjustment calendar per team is limited to 60 (there is no limit on the number of channels for Group (3 Companies) poll).
- If your Slack account is authorized as a guest, you will not be able to set up Slack integration.
How to connect Slack and TimeRex
- Login to TimeRex with your regular Google or Microsoft account.
- Switch to the appropriate space and click the "Team Settings" button.
- Click "Slack" in the "Integrations" menu to access the Slack integrations page.
- Click on the "Connect" button.
- Allow access to Slack.
After setting up Slack integration, the name of the workspace being integrated will be displayed.
Linkage to Slack must be implemented on a space-by-space basis.
Switch to the space where the schedule adjustment calendar for which you want to receive notifications is located, and set up the linkage by clicking the "Team Settings" button.
How to use Slack integration
Please make the following settings on the Create/Edit schedule adjustment calendar screen or the Create Group (3 Companies) poll screen.

After the integration with Slack is complete, click "Add service Integration" in the "Service Integration" section of the schedule adjustment calendar's Advanced Settings, and click "Slack" to select the "channel name" from the pull-down menu that you wish to receive notifications.
*The channels of the linked workspace are displayed in the pull-down menu.
*If you wish to receive notifications on a private channel, please enter the channel name in text in the "Channel Name" field, but you do not need to enter a # or key symbol.
When booking is completed or cancelled or rescheduled in the schedule adjustment calendar with Slack integration, you will receive a notification on the channel you set up.
Group (3 Companies) poll
When creating a Group (3 Companies) poll, you will be able to enter a "channel name".
* No # or key mark is required in the channel name.
You will receive notifications on the channels you have set up when there is a response to a Group (3 Companies) poll for which you have set up a Slack linkage.
You will also be notified when the dates are confirmed.
If you wish to receive notifications on a private channel
If you want to receive notifications on a private Slack channel, you must invite the TimeRex bot to the channel.
There are two ways to invite a bot.
How to invite a TimeRex bot to your private channel (1)
- Mention the TimeRex bot on a private channel by typing "@timerex".
- Click on "Add to Channel".
How to invite a TimeRex bot to your private channel (2)
- Access private channel settings.
- Click on "Add an App" under the "Integrations" tab.
- Search for "TimeRex" and click the "Add" button.

- Click to view schedule details on TimeRex.
* Cancellation notices are the same.
* If a guest reschedules, you will receive a notification showing the before and after dates and times of the change.
Group (3 Companies) poll
When a poll (answer of whether or not to attend) has been taken
- Name of person who responded whether or not to attend the meeting
- Group (3 Companies) poll name (blue text)
- Click to open the polling page.
- Guest's Company Name
- Guest Name
- Candidate date and time and whether or not to attend (○ / ×)
- Host Participant Name
- "Schedule confirmation page" button
- On TimeRex, you can check the polling status, fix the dates, and view the confirmed dates and times.
When the date is fixed
- Appointment date, time, and time zone
- Group (3 Companies) poll name (blue text)
- Click to open the polling page.
- Guest's company name and name (only for guests who responded ○ for the date and time determined)
- Host Participant Name
- "Schedule confirmation page" button
- On TimeRex, you can check the polling status, fix the dates, and view the confirmed dates and times.
How to disconnect Slack and TimeRex
If you wish disconnect the integration between Slack and TimeRex, you can do so by clicking the "Disconnect" button on the Slack integration page.
